Indie Author Day

Indie books — by small independent presses and self-published books — are an increasingly strong alternative and competitor to traditional publishing. This year, Forbes Library will hold an Indie Author Showcase to celebrate Indie Author Day. The event will include a reading followed by a half-hour book sale and meet-and-greet for independently published books in the Forbes Library Reading Room, just to the left of the circulation desk as you enter the library. Join us if you'd like to hear new work, meet and support other indie authors, and learn more about this emerging part of the literary world.
