Local Author Showcase: Michelle Gabow, "Go Play in Traffic"
Join us for a reading and Q&A with MA author Michelle Gabow.
Gabow will read from her new book Go Play in Traffic: A Writer’s Life. The book is a tale of creativity, loss, friendship, and telepathy during the COVID pandemic. After a year of writer's block, retirement and a break-up, Reba, a seventy-four-year-old lesbian, discovers Fred, an African Grey Parrot, and a call to an unexpected life.
Michelle A. Gabow is an author and playwright. Eight of her plays and a short video have been produced in Boston. Roxbury Repertory Theatre honored her as playwright laureate. Gabow is the author of Go Play in Traffic: A Writer’s Life, Not All There, and God is a Dog: Lost and Found in Paris. She lives in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, a dynamic neighborhood in Boston with her cat, Lucy; her dog, Charlie, and her love, Michelle Baxter.
