Family History help

Are you curious about how to get started on a family tree, or how to use the census, vital records, and family mementos to research your family's history? Book a one-on-one appointment with Brian Tabor, former Forbes circulation manager and genealogist, and learn how to use the library's genealogy resources such as Ancestry, Heritage Quest and American Ancestors databases. Email archives@forbeslibrary.org to book an appointment with Brian. 

Family History help is offered the 2nd week of the month in the Bak Study Room on:

Tuesdays 6-7pm and Wednesdays 10:30-12

The Hampshire Room for Local History is also open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 10-2 for appointments and drop in research.
