Local Author Showcase: Wendy Murphy, "Oh No He Didn’t: Brilliant Women and the Men Who Took Credit For Their Work"
Join us for a reading and Q&A with local author Wendy Murphy.
Wendy Murphy is an attorney specializing in women’s constitutional and civil rights and violence against women. She teaches at Newton England Law | Boston where she also directs the Women’s and Children’s Advocacy Project. She served as a Visiting Scholar at Harvard Law School from 2002-03.
Wendy has published numerous law review articles and scholarly papers, including her latest from 2024 on the history of women’s ongoing struggle for legal equality in the United States. Her new book, Oh No He Didn’t: Brilliant Women and the Men Who Took Credit For Their Work was published by Cynren Press in September 2024.
A mother of five, grandmother of one, and yoga student for life, Wendy lives outside Boston.
