Calling all current Smith students! As part of your First Week at Smith festivities, join us on the first floor of Forbes Library (Northampton's public library) to learn what resources are available to you here as a new member of the Northampton community. We'll have snacks, vintage Forbes postcards, and staff who can help you sign up for a library card. Students interested in archives and museums can also attend a behind the scenes tour of the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Library & Museum and Hampshire Room for Local History on the second floor. 

All Smith students can sign up for a Forbes Library card---you just need your OneCard to register! Once you have a library card, you have access to resources from libraries all over central and western Massachusetts. 

Forbes Library is conveniently located at 20 West Street, just across from the Smith College Bookstore. We invite Smith students to visit the library to enjoy our beautiful study spots and useful educational resources.
