Globe trotting to Cuba: A Solidarity Medical Aid Drive and Presentation
Please join us for a short film and conversation about the plight of the Cuban people under the cruel U.S embargo that impacts every aspect of civilian life. Cuba's solidarity with the world and sense of national pride in their place in the world is aspirational and Cuba needs our help. Given the economic crisis of this small island country coming out of covid into the new economic and supply chain realities weighed down by the harsh economic blockade, and sanctions of the US, Cuba cannot purchase the medicines and medical equipment it needs nor the raw materials to make medicines and medical equipment.
We can help. Please consider bringing medical supplies for donation. We will also provide a list of organizations that one can support financially to bring supplies to the country.
