Far Out Film Discussion : Caught by the Tides
Far Out Film Discussion functions like a book club - watch the film on your own and gather on the first and third Wednesdays to discuss.
We will meet in the Community room on Wednesday March 18th at 6:30 to talk about the 2024 Chinese drama Caught by the Tides directed by Jia Zhangke. The film is based on footage across 22 years, some from Jia's previous films, in an impressionistic non-linear blend of fiction and non-fiction.
The film can also be streamed on Kanopy.org using your Forbes Library or Boston Public Library:
