Join us on the lawn to hear Now's The Time jazz sextet perform on the Hess Performance Stage. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, a picnic dinner, and some friends for this outdoor performance.
About Now's The Time: This high-energy group plays a complementary mix of hard bop jazz, blues and swing. With a lively horn section of trumpet, alto sax, and clarinet, and rhythm players on upright bass, keyboard, and drums, Now’s the Time has performed together for fifteen years, celebrating enduring rhythms and melodies of great jazz composers like Charles Mingus, Miles Davis, Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley, and many others.
