Two Photographers, Two Visions: Larry Rankin and Bob Solosko
Larry Rankin and Bob Solosko are photographers whose work reaches beyond the literal. Utilizing a variety of techniques in imaging and processing, they create archival digital prints that express their personal impressions and emotions. For this exhibit, Larry has chosen sepia-toned black and white prints to evoke a sense of the ancient Tanzanian countryside and its animals and people. Bob has used techniques that simulate watercolors and oil painting to produce impressionistic visions of nature, landscapes and street images.
