Jane Yolen and Heidi Stemple Author Talk

Join Jane Yolen and Heidi Stemple for a celebration of their books about birds! The acclaimed mother/daughter author team will also talk about other stories they've written, and about what it's like to be a writer.

Jane Yolen has written over 365 books. One of her most beloved tales, Owl Moon, is based on her daughter Heidi's trip outside with her father to see an owl at night in the dead of winter. Years later, Heidi became an author, too! She and her mother have collaborated to write many books, including You Nest Here With Me, Not All Princesses Dress in Pink, and the Barefoot Book of Dance Stories. Both Jane and Heidi live in Western Massachusetts. 

There will be a book signing after the program, and Broadside Books will have titles available for purchase.
