Eating for Energy

Energy is defined as “the strength and vitality required for sustained physical or mental activity.” It’s your most valuable, renewable resource. Some activities and food drain your energy and some build it. When you learn what gives you energy, all areas of your life will improve.

We gain energy by eating nurturing foods that support our physical health. Even more critical to energy are the relationships we choose to engage in, career satisfaction, physical exercise, and fulfilling intellectual growth. Valuable takeaways from this FREE workshop include:

● How to “crowd out” foods that drain your energy with those that increase it.
● The relationship between sugar and mood swings.
● How to keep a food diary for noticing patterns in your daily energy levels.
● Strategies for making manageable changes to your lifestyle that will boost your energy.
● Resources and handouts.
