Center for New Americans 30 Poems in November Creative Writing Workshop
What makes a good poem? Or a great poem? In this workshop, organized as part of the 30 Poems in November fundraiser for the Center for New Americans and co-hosted by Sarah Sullivan (event chair of CNA) and Art Middleton (Writer in Residence at Forbes), we'll be engaged in three distinct prompts using beloved poems, the headlines in the news, and formal constraints to create new poems to contribute to our goal of 30 poems in the month.
