Supporting Antiracist Youth (Webinar for Adults)
The anti-bias, anti-racist educator, activist, and #1 New York Times bestselling author Tiffany Jewell will lead this anti-racism webinar for our community. Intended for adults (including parents, caregivers, and educators), it will last approximately 60 minutes, including 15 minutes for a Q&A. All registrants will receive a free copy of Tiffany Jewell's book, This Book is Anti-Racist: 20 Lessons on how to Wake Up, Take Action, and Do the Work, to read in preparation for the webinar. It will be placed on the holds shelf under the name of the person who registers for the webinar, and can be picked up either in the building during self-service hours or outside of the building by scheduling a curbside pickup appointment. Please allow at least two days for us to put your copy on the holds shelf before picking it up. Space is limited to the first 25 registrants. Please email childrens@forbeslibrary.org with any questions.
This program is made possible through CARES Act funding to Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services as administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
