Frances Crowe Film Series presents Wear Orange: Art Looks at Gun Violence.
The 25-minute movie is a virtual art exhibit including local artists and others from across the country, who remember those lost to gun violence, and commit to fighting the root causes of gun violence and make change. Doris Madsen, of Easthampton, is the artistic director and curator of the exhibit completed in early June 2021 with the Massachusetts chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. Join Doris Madsen for this screening and discussion with Tia Christiansen from Everytown Survivors Network.
Wear Orange: Art Looks at Gun Violence is supported by the Easthampton Cultural Council, the Springfield Cultural Council, Mass Cultural Council and the Massachusetts chapter of Moms Demand Action and in partnership with Easthampton City Arts.
