Please join us for a brief Friends of Forbes annual meeting to learn about the amazing support provided to the library during the past year. If you aren't yet a Friends of Forbes member, please consider joining. The Friends of Forbes is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help and enrich the Forbes Library so it may better serve the public. Through its membership and fundraising activities the Friends of Forbes provides financial support for a host of programs and materials.
 
Directly following our business meeting, Dylan Gaffney from Forbes Library Local History & Special Collections will present photographs from Downtown Northampton over a 100 year span of time from 1887-1987 drawn for the library' vast image collection. This collection is now more accessible than ever through the library's new digital portal.
